‘ERASMUS PROGRAMME+ STUDIES’

Study/project placements at universities in the EU

What is Erasmus?

Erasmus is an EU programme within the Lifelong Learning Programme framework which provides financial aid to Universities, its students, and its staff in order to promote the mobility of students and create cooperation between higher education institutions throughout the EU.

Erasmus provides the opportunity for students to spend a significant part of their studies (3-10 months) in another member state and receive academic recognition for said period as an integral part of the studies undertaken at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.

How do I take part?

To take part in the Erasmus exchange there must be an established agreement between both institutions. Every agreement states the participating universities, the number of students, the period of exchanges, and the area of knowledge to which the exchange is applied.

UPV currently has Erasmus agreements with over 500 institutions which are managed by each school.
